I got this to help with my hip pain when taking off my big boots at the fire station. When I first looked at it I thought it would be too small. The boot doesn’t slide too far into the “fork” but it turns out that doesn’t matter – it works just fine. And it changes the angle of the pressure enough that it doesn’t bother my hip to pull the boots off.

UPDATE! I have been using this boot jack for months now and it has held up amazingly. It has not damaged my boots or left any orange residue on my boots. My husband my children and I all use it on a daily basis. I’m so glad I got this

Had a boot jack before, great idea with the rubber gripper on the inside to hold the boots when you pull. I love it. I really want my boys to use this when they come in from doing who knows what outside – that always seems to involve MUD. They like using it because it is new so fingers crossed that they’ll keep on using it. No complaints, seems solid and indestructible.

I seem to have a wrestling match every time I take off my fancy cowgirl boots. They are still tight and hard to come off but this gives me a fighting chance. I would recommend to anyone that has spent 5 minutes pulling off those cute boots that were just a little small – but you bought them anyway.

Very easy to use, makes it easy to pull boots off with very little effort and slides under the bed for storage.

Once again, works great for Cowboy boots however I purchased this with the intent to use for Knee High Hunting Muck Boots and Waders, which they do work as good as the Cowboy boots since the opening is much smaller than expected.

Also, I was kinda bummed that the logo “Boot Hunter (with target)” as seen in photo on item was not actually on the item so it is just plain black an orange. Not a deal breaker but I value the company that is proud to put their name on the product.

Great product for the price. Leaving it in the porch, so my dirty boots don’t even track any dirt in. Product materials are compatible with being out in the elements.

I have an expensive, wooden boot jack in the bedroom upstairs. It works reliably and does its job. This one is a lot less expensive and does the exact same job. I keep it on the front porch so I can take off my muddy boots and not track stuff all over the floors. Functionally, there is no difference between the two. My other is a bit fancier and looks nicer, but my boots can’t tell. This one is everything I need.

This is absolutely one of the best inventions I’ve ever seen.
    I wish I had this year’s ago.
The older I get the harder it gets to take off the boots. This does it effortlessly with no damage to the boot. Thank you for such a great product

I think these should be a little wider, I was able to remove my Muck boots but they barely are able to grab due to the width of the boots. The boots are a size 11 so I think they should be a little wider.

Very nice boot puller – works much better than the similarly priced wooden versions that come with soft cloth in the boot-grabbing region. The rubberized (orange) portion really grabs your boot effectively. Unlike the often cheaply built wooden versions, Boot Hunter is really solidly built and should last for years. Like other boot pullers I have tried, there’s a coordination learning curve and I suspect people with balance problems might have mixed results, but that’s just a general comment (not sure what other options exist for that issue?). My only complaint (really a comment to consider) relates back to the rubberized boot grabbing region. Once the boot is pulled off, you can’t just easily kick the boot out of the slot as you prepare to pull the second boot – it just grabs on too effectively. This means you usually have to bend over and pull it out by hand. If you have back issues, you might prefer a puller that doesn’t grab the boot so effectively, with the obvious tradeoff being, well, it won’t grab on so effectively. However, for me, and I suspect most people, this puller is perfect.

First boot puller I’ve owned and now I wouldn’t think of not having one. Before ordering, I was concerned about damaging the side of my heel’s but the part which touches the boot is like a medium soft rubber, which doesn’t mar or discolor the leather.

The foyer has hardwood flooring and I haven’t noticed any marks from using this on them either.

In short, I would buy this again if I needed too.

I am so glad Amazon asked how the fit was for this boot jack. Aside from Bigfoot himself this should do the job for just about anyone. The rubber inner neck is helpfull in grabbing the boot without jaming it all the way back.

This saves me from daily desperate attempts at pulling off my boots and also nearly falling over. Love the ease and functionality of the Boot Hunter. The grippiness on the boot is great. And doesn’t damage the crock or lizard leather I have on my boots.

I always have a tough time getting boots off and this is a godsend! I am know able to get my barn boots off without the help of someone. I tried it on some more fashionable boots with a thinner back of heel and it fit those as well. Does it’s job.

I’ve needed a boot puller for since my replaced hip made it very difficult to pull my own boots off.
This one works as expected and considering it is plastic feels substantial and sturdy but light weight.

The image I posted is centered on this little hard nub left behind by the molding process. I discovered it when I realized it was scratching my hardwood floor as it was pulling off my boots. So I’ll be smoothing it down as soon as I submit this review.
